Under the concept of “the ultimate home is clothes,” Kosuke Tsumura established the urban survival fashion brand called “FINAL HOME.”

As Tsumura phased through Paris Collection, London Collection, Tokyo Collection, among others, he found himself working relentlessly in the fields of design, art and architecture on a daily basis.

COCOON CRADLE, MOTHER PIECE
Softness and firmness from the same material?
Kosuke Tsumura, a fashion de- signer who is constantly searching for new, meaningful perspectives for clothing and people, created clothing for a mother and her baby. The rockable cradle that gently accepts the new- born baby is made from a material that is soft like a blanket. The impression in the center, though, is fi rm like a silk cocoon. Individual sonic-cut units are combined like puzzle pieces to form the mother’s clothes.

FELIBENDYTM has air-permeability, water absorbability, acoustic absorbability, stretchability and other properties, and is a nonwoven highly functional fabric with the capability of tuning its comfort to the human body. Created using a steam-jet manufacturing process, the material is extremely lightweight, highly processible and has superior three-dimensional formability. Here, softness and hardness are manifest simultaneously in one material.
